St. Christopher’s School, Nanyuki swimmers finished as overall champions at this year’s Laikipia Aquatics Invitational Swimming Championship, the latest chapter in a proud swimming tradition at the school.
Our swimming programme has a rich history of excellence, with our students achieving recognition as PIPSSA champions in previous seasons. Regular training sessions build physical fitness, discipline and teamwork, with the programme catering to swimmers of every level, from complete beginners to advanced competitors.
This latest title reflects the consistency of that approach: swimmers from across the school’s year groups contributed points across individual and relay events, with the coaching team praising the squad’s discipline in training in the lead-up to the invitational.

What This Means for Our Swimmers
- Recognition for students across Primary and Junior Secondary who compete on the school team.
- Continued momentum heading into the next PIPSSA fixtures.
- A reminder of how co-curricular achievement sits alongside academic life at St. Christopher’s.
Parents interested in the swimming programme, or in enrolling a child who’s keen on competitive sport, can get in touch with the school office for more information.
